Същинското тайнство е планирано обикновено вечер, когато всички са свободни от работа. Често тези служби стават в нечия къща или апартамент с над 50 присъстващи. Хвалението е тихо за да не привлича ненужно вниманието на съседите, но тишината и липсата на музика не ограничава Бога – дори обратно. Вървящият е дори по-чувствителен към гласа на Святия Дух, проявен чрез дарби и свидетелства.

Богослужението започва с молитва за отредените да приготвят вечерята и продължава с проповед която е призив за покаяние и спасение за да могат всички да участват в тайнството. То не е позволено за неспасени и непълни с Духа. Затова следва молитва за болните и за кръщение в Духа. За да се свърши делото докрай, онези които са новородени и изпълнение с Духа са кръстени във вода. Обикновено течаща вода, а в нередки случаи прясно разбит вир в заледената наблизо река.

Събранието очаква с молитва тяхното завръщане като преобраз на завръщането на Христос и съединяването на всички светии. При посрещането на новородените и новокръстени се пее специална за случая песен „Честит тоз ден, кога стана в сърцето ми решението…” Разновидното от Тинчевистите (последователи на основоположника на Божиите църкви, Стоян Тинчев от Долни Дъбник), но единосъщо общество на Борисовите (Борис Грозданов от Вердикал), пее и „Сега желая Спасе мой, смирено кротко с простота, да сторя по завета твой, твоята кръв да помена…”
